I have been thinking about Christmas gifts. We did a CUTE bag last sewing group! 

This month, I was thinking of something else cute and SUPER EASY and FAST!
 (seriously this time!)

Ruffle Knee High Socks

 

( these or these ideas or this idea for re-purposing those cute tights! ) 

For the little girls in our lives!
 Accessories for stocking stuffers (hehe) and to add to the cousin's gifts! 

(I feel bad for sharing a link that is on etsy because this is her idea, She has other great stuff and great prices. I love her stuff!  but I needed a picture for you. I am trying to find my own niche so I can add them to MY ETSY SHOP! )

I have added not only fabric, but lace etc to the socks. What about Rosettes and Roses or Bows or a cascade of felt flowers etc etc etc!!! Be creative!

Supplies: 

• Knee High socks (package of socks is less expensive, JCPenny has an 8pk on sale for $14 right now)
• Other socks you want ruffle on
• 1-2 inch wide ribbon about 20 inches long for each sock. 
• OR scraps of fabric about 20-30 inches long and about 4inches wide (how ever wide you want to do it)
• OR check out that sight for re-purposing those tights that don't fit anymore! and follow those instructions for 
• thread, sewing stuff 

If you do not have a sewing machine but what to do this.... COME! I have one! :)

But, if you have questions about organizing or cleaning... forget it! I am not the one to ask, but I know someone who can help. :) haha! Most of my friends know that though. :)

Sewing group for September

Monday the 12th at 10 am

We are going to make these bags. Something perfect to carry sketch book and pencils, Or scriptures and gospel art kit pics. etc, etc. I love Heather Bailey! Here is her pattern info. :)

Christmas is around the corner and school is upon us! So, I was thinking about what we could make for gifts for Christmas. Also what my girls might need at the start of school to make things more organized. Also at church to keep the little ones busy with out a huge diaper bag! I give lots of bags as gifts and really... who doesn't need another one! RIGHT! :)
If you need to make things like Halloween costumes, mending or help with any other project, PLEASE come and I will answer questions about anything you need. This is DIY with a tutor! :)
